The Upstream & Downstream Oil and Gas Exhibition & Conference now running for the 3^rd year is still the first of its kind in West Africa, geared towards creating an enabling environment for all industry key players to synergize on new technologies and opportunities in the region’s hydrocarbon activities.

With Nigeria’s current crude oil production capacity of 2.5 million barrels per day and current trade surplus of 9.4 billion USD, the country’s economy is growing at the rate of 6.5%; making the country one of the fastest growing economies in Africa.

The event which is now endorsed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS)and other industry stakeholders is expected to be declared open by H.E Goodluck Jonathan, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the 24^th September, 2013 at the Abuja International Conference Centre, Abuja, Nigeria.
